Default MARCH 10 Run up the HILL

Thursday, March 10th, Good old Hector, Mesa Dave, and I are making a run up the hill to Payson for breakfast at the airport, then on to Strawberry. I'm thinking I'll carry on up to Mormon Lake to enjoy the day, if anyone's interested. Anyone want to hook up with us can meet us at the base of the Bush Hwy. NB ramp on to Beeline at 8:30. Good Times.

Karl,
Wasn't planning on going to Mormon lake. We'll have to see how the day goes.

Six of us braved the frigid 65° morning temperatures to run up the hill. Keith, Scotty, Mesa Dave (true statement!), Rockingham Lee, Jim Cook, and I. Had a good breakfast at the Payson airport. Dave headed for home and the other five of us took off North. Keith had stuff to do so he split from us, just south of Clint's Well and the rest of us went on to Mormon Lake. Lots of snow in places but it was well melted off along the road so we didn't have any water or mud to deal with. We got to almost 8000' elevation, and even at that, the air was brisk but nothing medium weight clothing didn't handle. By the time we got back to Payson, the sweat shirts and jackets came off and we had a real comfortable drive home. Truly a great day for our 300+ mile drive.

Pfft - You guys think YOU had fun...?

I sat in a conference room all day with 10 other people and formulated strategic roadmaps, product enhancement and delivery timelines, and team organization charts...

It was awesome. The temperature in that room never moved off of 75*, and my car, sitting in the garage at home, had no mechanical issues at all... It performed flawlessly all day

Next time, I hope...

One of the great runs in this state. Lots of curves and mountain terrain. We kept a pretty good pace too. Who are those guys ??

MikieC,
It's like cold air induction, the smaller 289's and 302's feel like big blocks, but don't have to stop for gas every other town we visit. I'm ready to go again.
