Had a great trip with great people. Karl, Scotty, Jim, Lee, Robert, Keith & myself.
Made it to the Hook a bit early so ended up in Superior for a great Mexican lunch.

Miami, Miami. Not Superior.
What a nice day for a spirited drive. My GPS recorded 111MPH. Must have been down hill, with a tail wind. Had a leg cramp and couldn't let off the throttle. Honest!
Good food at Guayo's. Had a room to ourselves. Guess they recognized Scotty from a previous visit and didn't want to drive off their regular customers.

Karl, you were close enough to visit your old car's birth place.

Great drive today with a good looking group. 111 mph indeed, I was following Karl and couldn't keep my hat on LOL.

I found it kinda hard to follow Karl, being I don't pass on solid double lines.

Mikie, not much left there. Jack took the dirt nap 3-4 years ago, and good riddance.

Keith, at least you have enough hair to have the wind blow through it. I didn't have hat trouble, this time since I wore a dew rag. Last trip my hat blew off and the lanyard got tangled on the roll bar. I drove the last 15 miles into Payson, at Scottie's 85MPH,with one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding on to the hat, so the lanyard wouldn't choke me.
"We" did get a bit spirited this trip. Can't make a habit of that.

That huge boarded up building in Miami could be our new clubhouse. Big enough to do donuts inside !

I did not notice the chopper or the LEO talking to someone just before we turned on 188. Couldn't determine if DPS uses helicopters for revenue sourcing or it they are just for rescue and emergencies. The fixed wing craft should be much cheaper to operate.

I saw the helicopter fly over... It looked more like a civilian chopper to me.

They actually use both for speed enforcement. Fixed wings are hard to spot.
