It is all Karl's fault.
In another thread I mentioned that I had the Cobra out for a few days, with temps in the 60's.
He said something about snow.... Well he get's his wish. Expecting 5 to 12 inches on Sunday. I'm talking to the weather gods about diverting it to his yard.

You know what else is Karl's fault...?
Every time I join a run with him, Keith or Robert McLinden, I come home and spend the next day with my yellow pad, my pencil, and a calculator; trying to formulate a plan on how to get a 289 FIA-style car into my garage...
I love the 289 style cars- I have Cobra-envy
And now that FF is offering a USSRC style starter kit, It seems that now even THEY are conspiring to break down my willpower...
Unfortunately, with 3 automotive projects already in-process, I need a 4th one like I need a hole in the head... So the only way I can do a cobra-swap would be to sell mine, then find a finished 289 car that fits my budget, which would leave me HotRod-less for the duration of the search...
I know- It's a real dilemma ...
I think I'll go take mine for a ride - that usually soothes my FIA envy for a few weeks...

The ERA may be on the market soon as the Kirkham is very close to being on the road with the exception of a ton of sanding. If you are interested give me a call 4804407550.

Bob, you going for the polished look?
Robert, sell everything and build a car. It's to hot for most to drive in the summer. So go ahead and build.

Bob's car would be an excellent ERA to have. Pretty sure it's got every upgrade or option, except stoopid expensive, wool carpet. Has the outboard rear brakes, six pin wheels ( no adapters needed), real leather seats, quick release steering wheel, soft top and tonneau. So much good stuff.
I get envious of it, except it doesn't have my nifty Webers.

Mike, I'll be quite satisfied to just get to brushed. I believe my life span would not allow polished. Besides, I really don't like the looks of the polished ones.

Good. I like the brushed better. You will live a long life.

I'm looking for an ERA FIA. I'd like to look at your car if you're considering selling it. What can you tell me about it. (I live in Gold Canyon.)

Better make sure you have plenty of motor then, so that I don't pass you.
