Phil, more than glad to have you. Just be sure to NOT give the short, nasty guy with the orange Cobra your initiation and first 20 years' dues. Those should all go to the hansom guy with the bald head, beard, pony tail, dark blue FIA with a bright blue team stripe.

Certainly Phil. Watch the monster speed bump when you first pull in and turn left. Tough to remember when you leave also. Back in beside us or, if you're first, pick a spot not coned or roped off for Ferraris or Lambos.

Maybe that speed bump was put there to make the various dealers' body shops some business? I'm just sayin'

" hansom guy with the bald head, beard, pony tail, dark blue FIA with a bright blue team stripe"...anyone know this guy? I know a good looking, dark blue FIA car with sissy blue team stripes but the guy who drives it is not "hansom".....kind of reminds me of..well nevermind. I used to be a fan of 60's horror flicks.. and he reminds me of why I quit..

Default This saturday

Looks like a good turnout this Saturday. 6AM arrival. Free coffee starts at 7am. Done at 9am. Home by 9:30am or so before it get too hot.
Peter Volny will be there in either his Ferrari or his Ford GT to talk to us and specially Karl about the Concourse in the Hills 2017 event.

See you there. Hope my eyes open that early.

Karl...my TR is on jack stands. I'm waiting for break parts so my Cobra is high and dry. Can I ride with you?

Just checked the weather forecast for tomorrow... the 5am drive should be nice (mid 70's) and it's not supposed to crack 100 until 11:00am...

Plenty of time to have some free coffee, make some chit chat, and see what Karl can manage to break on his car before we roll back out of there...

We even had a RED Cobra show up (Will T.), but the Chevy Orange car was conspicuously absent. Wonder what flimsy excuse there will be, THIS time.

I'm trying to remember just who said we should all meet up at this show to discuss the California coast trip. Could it be THAT guy that previously has suggested something and then bails out on doing it, after others made their plans to participate?

and don't forget Mrs. DWRAT was riding shotgun, too-

D-Ratti pulled out of there and drove away just about as tame as I've ever seen him drive.

Great morning - The drive out to Scottsdale at 5:30, in 76 degrees, was pure heaven.

And now you see why I like to drive solo, it's like having a cop in your mirror the whole F-ing time.

Well, Danr, since you'd wanted us all to meet at this show to decide the schedule and route for the upcoming Kalifornia Koast trip, we did. You are welcome to tag along, as long as your bring Adriana to keep you in proper behavior mode.

Danr, you are correct, sorta. Scottie, Dan R, Gary, Vickie, me, and Mike were confused and thought it was at Penske.

I apologize for that Karl. I took advantage of an opening to finally get the top fixed and the seat re-woven. So I guess we can talk at the show at Gainey Ranch on 7/2.
