Vikki and I are thinking about staying Saturday night and go to Cushing Street Restaurant. Old part of Tucson. Great live 4 piece old standard jazz band. Food is great. Which means 5:30 AM start at Firebird Lake.

Joining the Firebird Chevron Group
Change of plans. I am going to join Dan, Keith and Bruce at the Wild Horse Pass exit Chevron about 5:30am on Saturday morning. On the other end I have reserved a room in Tucson for Saturday night so we can bask in victory and I will return in the am on Sunday. I will bring the Challenge Trophy but it will just be extra weight for the round trip.

Well, it seems like Danr's morning meetup is getting more attendance than Karl's (so far)... So I'll plan to arrive at the Idaho road Chevron at 5:30, so Karlos doesn't have to drive all alone...
I mean, he'll still have the voices in his head to keep him company, but none of them will be able to call for a tow truck if he needs it..:p |

Last night, the voices told me it was time to clean my guns...... Ratti-Tat-Tat, You are going to miss a nice ride, even if it is endless miles on an interstate, for some people. I've never gone up Mt. Lemmon and I'm looking forward to getting in a goodly amount of seat time/miles before our temperatures get uber uncomfortable. |
