Finally Done
At long last my car is back to its old self again. Bob Reem removed the FAST fuel injection and put back my Holly 780. Night and day difference. It would not run right at all with the fuel injection. Bob Reem is a stand up guy with his business. After almost a year of adjusting, reprograming, and trying anything he could to get the computer to function right, I finally gave up and went back to tried and true. The business, as far as the refund was concerned, was worked out where both of us are happy. I would still recommend Imagine Injection to anyone interested, but I don't think that throttle body injection is the right fit for a cobra. Thanks Bob, I really appreciate you putting up with me this past year.

Glad everything worked out to your liking.
My dealings with Bob have been right in line with your experience. He certainly is very knowledgeable and really a stand up guy.
Get the bumble bee out and put some miles on, before it gets toasty.

What a discouraging story. I'm glad that you were able to come to an agreement and make a decision on what to do with your fuel delivery method. It seems like every fuel injection story works out really well or really bad with not much middle ground. Typically when you are working with a shop that has fuel injection experience it turns out for the better. I've heard lots of good things about the shop you worked with so it sounds like your setup just wasn't meant to be. Good luck with your carb endeavor.

Joe- I agree with you on that point. If you are going to make the decision to drop the cash on a fuel injection system, then you might as well go whole-hog and do a dry intake, port injection system.
Glad you got your car all sorted out, and back to the way you wanted it...

I love the color scheme on your car! Fuel injection is nice but it is much more of a total engine system solution than a carburetor. The big OEMs spend a lot of time and money designing and calibrating those systems to work in concert with the rest of the package.
