Need Some Help
As you may have read, we are trying to put together a trip from Santa Monica up Hwy 1 and 101 to Muir Wood then across to Tahoe for the Antique Boat Show. I've run into trouble trying to find motels in Santa Monica, Morro Bay, Monterey, Santa Cruz that will reserve 6 or 8 rooms and permit us to be close enough to watch the cars at night. If anyone has any suggestions, please send them along.
Thanks,

why do you need to watch the cars at night? you won't get much sleep that way.

Agree with Mike. Park them right out front. Put a tonneau cover on and go to sleep. No one will touch em.
Park yours in the middle. It's the end ones that could get hit.

I'm fairly sure if anyone's going to steal a Cobra it won't be a Orange one.

Those are nice hotels, but $300 + per night is a bit steep for me.. thanks for the suggestion.

We had 14 cars and it was 6 years ago. I don't remember it being that much though, I guess prices have gone up. Enjoy the trip.

Dan....we have been going to Huntington Beach for 9 years with various numbers of Cobras We never had special parking or requested it. We booked hotels based on location and price. Your fretting over too much. Just book your rooms at an affordable motel and be done with it. Don't you carry insurance? Or book the $300-$400 and be done with it.

When I was over in Carmel areas downtown a drink was $15 and a waffle cost $15. It is Carmel Area and California?
