BobB, CarNut, and Paul G are not worried about rough roads since they will be driving their cushy, ACd cup holdered, stereophonic, JAFMs.

Karl, I really wish you would stop holding back and tell us how you really feel.

Seriously.guys, the road from above the tunnel to topic the world was a pain in my truck. I don't know that the JAFMs would fare much better....but you can try it and we will have something g to talk about Saturday night.

No, Doc. Bruce and I will meet whomever is left at the Chevron in AJ at 7:30.
I hope you all realize the 177 to 77 route to Winkleman and then Globe is AFTER all of the road repair restrictions so you guys will not miss any part of the slow down except the low speed limits in downtown Miami to Globe. Look at your map. If you're not at your office we will meet and proceed on schedule.

To sum up:
Group 1: Leaving Chevron at 7:00am will take the Winkelman route (37miles longer)
Group 2: Leaving Chevron at 7:30am will take the direct route.

Does this sound right?

Bob, the road work and lane restrictions are between Superior and Top.of the World. That is all under construction and rough as a cob.

HARK!
Thinking that it had been several weeks since Danr had driven between Superior and Miami, and it doesn't take much of an excuse to get me into my car, I took a drive up to Miami late this afternoon. They'd put down a goodly amount of new black top, so the surfaces are generally very smooth, there are several sections blocked down to one lane, each direction. That being the case, I'll be running along with the hard core and barkalounger set up rt. 60 to Globe, rather than the longer drive through Winkleman. Doubt that there'll be much traffic early Saturday morning so we shouldn't have much of an issue.

Me three -

"Planning" being the operative word - My new skid is still up on jackstands in my garage, but if my workload today is light enough, I should be able to get the last 2 hours of stuff done on it, and get it back on its wheels this afternoon...

That would be fantastic Robert. You're a fun guy to have around PLUS we need someone besides Scotty to pick on.

Weather report for tomorrow and Sunday shows no rain, sunny sky and high of 72, low of 44. Sounds like perfect weather.
