Default OK - who has best solved...

the Cobra cup holder question? Pardon my newbyness, but my doctor requires me to drink a lot of water. Who has a slick way to carry a water bottle so it's readily available?

I can't send a pic right now because the car is covered up but what I did was get one of those stainless water bottles with a Camelbak insulated sleeve/holder that has a loop on the side and I zip tied the loop on the holder to my roll bar down on the side of the drivers seat so that the bottle sits on the tunnel up against the roll bar. Works just like a holster - easy to get to and out of the way/secure

Here's the sleeve - remove the carabiner and then zip tie the sleeve to your roll bar down near the tunnel

I always have a couple water bottles sitting right next to me behind the passenger seat inside corner.
They fit perfectly and don't go anywhere.
I also installed a folding cup holder for when I need my 44oz soda pop on the back wall of the cockpit.

yep - behind passenger seat corner. Can stash all kinds of things back there. Prop it up with your jacket, towel, whatever if you have to. Easy to reach from behind the wheel.

Unless you have a CSX car. The batteries are behind the seat.

I had 2 stainless steel boat cup holders installed in my transmission tunnel in front of the shifter. Easy deal. Involved cutting two holes in the tunnel and the cup holders dropped right in.

Check with Al Weaver from the Tucson crew. He has cup holders and an arm rest.

I carry a 32 ounce water bottle tucked behind my seat. Sometimes 2 or 3.

The plastic cupholders in my former () car were not nearly as nice as Al's, but they sat in the same location, and were something like 14 bucks from Pep Boys....

And Karlos would tease me mercilessly about them... So you need to take that little inconvenience into account, as well

I vote we all hold Karl down and tickle him until he says "Woosie, woosie, woosie!"

That nifty cup holder looks like the unit on Amazon for about $110.
