Default Breakfast Run

Anyone interested in running to Pumpkin Center Saturday morning? Leave the Shell station on Shea about 8:30.

Does that become a loop through Globe/Miami on the way back?

Usually, some back track the same way and some make the loop.

You know I can't miss an opportunity. I should be at the bottom of the on ramp from Bush Hwy onto the Beeline about 8:45. Of course, I'll be doing the swing around Roosevelt to Globe.

Hi guys, a New Englander here visiting your fine state, traveling from Phoenix to Sedona and up into Utah. First time out this way and doing this run over the last week I am amazed at the vastness of your state, but one question comes to mind as I travel it. Why do you guys own cars that can corner? In 400 miles I've taken 2 lefts and 3 rights, then straight lines as far as I can see! Round a bouts are fun but very short lived and I'm thinking Mad Max cars would be far more appropriate for out here. Actually just having fun with you and enjoying everything on a great vacation.

Make sure you take the road up Oak Creek Canyon when you leave Sedona.

Murky, Pretty sure the route # for the road up Oak Creek Canyon, to Flagstaff, is 89A. There's a few twisties but it certainly has some nice scenery.

We manage to find a few roads to exercise our shoulder muscles around curves. Last weekend, 6 Cobras and 3 Barkalounger JAFMs did the trip up "The Devil's Highway", down in the SE corner of the state. About 119 miles and 460 turns. Good times.

Mikiec, I didn't want to scare him.

BTW, darn good thing I talked to Mesa Dave. He set me straight about this run being on Saturday, not the Sunday I'd mis-assumed. duh!

I'll still be there.
