Breakfast Run CHANGE!
This Tuesday, 10/18, didn't work out so Danr and I are going to go to Winkleman, for Breakfast, this Thursday, 10/20. Leave the Chevron station, at Idaho and the 60, at 8am. Hope some of you are up for a little hilly driving and some fair Mexican food. ('taint the destination, its da journey)
I WANNA DRIVE!

My IOU job that I promised to help with got moved from Tuesday to Thursday, so I can't go. 10% chance it'll get changed to next week. :-(

Hope you guys have a nice drive this morning.
Please pause somewhere along the way and have a moment of silence, in pity of us poor working-fools who couldn't go...

RB....step away from the rattle can, step away from the rattle can.
BTW,,, "Antique Gold" was the Huffers' spray paint of choice, 'way back when I started working for Checker Auto. Always had to watch the guys that walked in with gold residue around their nostrils. They'd make a bee-line to the paint shelves and rip off as many as they could hide.
RB, what's your favorite?

Trying again to post a photo. It will either be cobras at Winkelman or a bunch of white cats sharing a dinner of marshmallows with polar bears at the north pole.

Youse that opted to not go on this morning's run were lots smarter than the four of us that did. Danr, Scottie, Ron (NNiets), and I. The weather was just disgusting! Starting temp was low 70°s, so much sunshine, it hurt the eyes, gentle breeze, UGLY two lane roads with upsies and downsies, mild tiwsty-curvies, nasty tasting, over priced food at Maria's in Winkleman. Scottie, especially, hated his food, but he was the only one that cleaned his plate...so well the dishwasher wouldn't have to touch it. Ron's 7# burrito had him stuffed and he had to take half it it home for later. My $5 stack of 12" pancakes was enough for two people, but I gave it my best shot. Such a relief to get home!

Hey I worked a couple of summers at Checker Auto when I was going to engineering school. I can vouch for Karl re: the huffers and the paint. Had to keep a close eye on the Kraco speakers too.
