I like the idea and am for it but like Dan and Karl said hard to get an accurate count from our group.

Maybe not P C but a damn easy and straight forward approach is those who pre pay by the drop dead date eat. No tickie no laundry! We are all adults and if hungry adults speak up and commit to something. If enough like the idea I would get exact price and spell out a couple options.

I'd suggest a new thread with a title like "Food! Must respond by November 13!!" That should guarantee that everyone responds by the middle of December.

We used to put an RSVP on the flyer, we never got more than 5 or 6 returns. We stopped the RSVP in the 3rd or 4th year.

Well here are a.coje of things to think about:
1. The price will likely.vary.dependinv.on the number of meals.served.
2. Trying to organize this crew is like trying to heard cats...and most of us like it that way.
3. We have waited way to late in the game to make something work this year. Well, maybe.
4. How many of those.going to the party this year would like it catered?

I called a BBQ joint that I have enjoyed the food from 3 or 4 times just to get an idea of cost. In very round numbers it costs $12 to $15 per head for adult portions of BBQ sandwich, mac & cheese, salad and corn. The place is called Bobby Q's on I17 south of Dunlap. There are of course other places and menus. I spend more to bringing a dish for the gang and have to cook then do dishes. $15 bucks was a high side rough number but without specifics and a head count?
Jeff I think this is a good idea - count me in for (1) person. I think I read elsewhere that we are not going to have access to AC power or be able to cook on site so that limits our options for a traditional potluck. Given that, the idea of a simple catered lunch makes sense to me. Suggest we get a final tally by the 19th and we all pay you 15.00 at the party or in advance. Anyone who says they will attend, does not cancel by the 19th and does not show can send you their money.

Thumbs up

Happy Veteran's Day!

I just picked up a little red (Radio Flyer) wagon today that Bob and Pat Bondurant personally signed for the staff of the Phoenix Children's Hospital and a part of our Toy Drive for PCH. I'm very happy and appreciate Bob and Pat, and the Bondurant school for their generosity and support for PCH and hosting the Arizona Cobras Anniversary Party in their museum.

Nine more days, friends!

What a great idea Bill. Thank you for all your efforts. We will have a drink in your honor in Tombstone or Bisbee or Sierra Vista or all three.

The Bondurant School would like to get a head count on attendees for the party this Sunday. Also, if you're bringing your Cobra or other car.

Thanks for your role call!
