I met a man promoting the annual Downtown Chandler Car Show at the Chandler HD show and told him I'd pass along information about his upcoming show. I'd attended the show a few times, in the past, and there were lots of people gandering at the cars. Here's the info for anyone that wants to spend the day at a good show. Be advised: "tain't free to enter.

On Saturday, March 4, the 14th Annual Chandler Classic Car Show returns to Chandler. This fun, free event for the entire family opens to the public at 10:00 a.m. and will feature some of Arizona’s finest vehicles. If you are interested in featuring your classic car, truck, muscle car, custom, rat rod or whatever your cool ride is, go to Chandler Classic Car Show – Ostrich Festival. Car Show check-in times will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Chicago Street, just east of Washington Street in the Chandler Police Department Parking Lot. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Scott Detherage Foundation.

This is going to be a huge day in Downtown Chandler, as we are combining this show with the Mayor’s Fun Run, the Ostrich Festival Parade and the Chandler Fire and Police Public Safety Fair!!
