As they say, if you don't like the weather forecast, wait and it will change. It now calls for 73 degrees with only a 20 percent chance of random scattered showers.

My personal wager is that you guys are perfectly safe for the Fountain Hills show, and are going to have a really nice day, weather-wise...
(That's the offshore fisherman in me talking, and as every housewife along the Eastern Seaboard knows: When it comes to the weather, you always trust a Fisherman, over a Weatherman... )

Hmm. Always trust a fisherman???? I used to be a fisherman. I know that the term "de-liar" was created for fishermen. ( "De-Liar" is another term for a scale or a measuring tape).. I guess though that when it comes to weather, they are as good as any of the weather guessers..

So,
Robert, from the farmlands, is predicting we will be perfectly safe from the storm, while he watches the show from his sofa. Smart guy !

Exactly!
Actually - I have a very simple way of looking at it: I won't be there, so naturally the weather will be perfect.
Dan- Some fishermen lie, and some fishermen merely "exaggerate"

Here is a nice map that Ron (nneits) drew up for tomorrow's event, showing all pre-meeting places, entries, exits, etc...
It's downloadable from the Arizona Cobras Google Drive (the file is too large to attach to a ClubCobra post):
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6a...ew?usp=sharing
Weather-wise, the exaggerating Meteorologist/Fisherman still says you guys are going to have a GREAT day... and Unisys is still agreeing with me:

I gave Ron some scribbles I'd made yesterday, after meeting with Peter, and he did just one bang up job converting it to the easy to understand, no-way-in-hell- you-can-get-lost, map. I'll also be bring copies to the Shell station tomorrow.
Today's ACCUWEATHER sez partly cloudy tomorrow with NO RAIN until Sunday. Yah Hoo!
See youse guys tomorrow. Remember: LEAVE SHELL STATION AT 7:00

Yeah, Karl did the hard part. He drove up to Fountain Hills, traced out the route, measured the distances, and wrote the instructions. I sat at my PC and stole maps. The instructions are Karl's 'scribbles'. Bottom line: Blame him if it goes to $hit.

Woohoo!
Surprise! I got a call this morning that my cobra is done! Woo Hoo! Everything got done ahead of schedule, for less than estimated PLUS they threw in a couple of extras I was going to do myself. I'll post more about my favorite Hot Rod Shop later when I'm sure everything is working to my expectations. For you north siders:
D&M Automotive: Home
They also installed the twin disc clutch in my GT500.
AZ WOO HOO Bob
See you in the morning

Of Course I'm Happy! This is a bucket list event that may never happen again with Cobras as the main feature. I have been endorsing, encouraging and pushing this day for a year and almost missed it myself.
It's tough for someone my age to get excited!
Weather.com forecast for Fountain Hills for tomorrow is now 75 degrees and NO RAIN!
Woo Hoo Again!
AZ Bob
