Back on topic- I just got back from a short test drive... Everything that I took out of the dash, and then put back into the dash, still works... whew.

Car is clean, and ready to cruise up to Gainey Ranch tomorrow morning.

and, my new Smith's clock is mega cool.

That wrinkle might shrink out with a heat gun. Seen upholsters do it with dash recover jobs. Prolly depends on the material. Check with a pro or do a test. Looks great as is. Nobody mentioned "Wee Mike".

No , it would simply be a Cobra that doesn't leak oil.

Ratt, Ford put 390's in their trucks. They did however paint some of them Chebbie orange. Why not bring your hot rod Vette up to 83rd tonight. The temps are near the low 80's so am asking the East siders to come up too.

The 390 truck motor is a total dog from what I hear, don't think anyone would put that in a Cobra these days.
