"We're not responsible for damages that occur to your car while in our care" is unfortunately a growing CYA tactic that businesses are increasingly undertaking, so they won't be held legally accountable for the conduct of their employees when they take customer cars out on "test drives" -- MAJOR red flag. (especially if you pull in with a high performance car that the technicians immediately start drooling on.)
They might as well just post a sign on the wall that says "Our technicians are going to abuse your car, and you are going to pay for it...."

Charlie has always done great work for me. Thanks for posting his new address. I'll drive the extra distance from the East Valley to his new location.

Usually it is better to discuss matters by personal email not on public forum. I have had bad experiences at Anthem when I assumed everyone was honest. Everyone is not honest. As we get older or in Karl's case "very old" we get wiser we anticipate problems.
Charlie treated me right as did Gordon Levy and Bob Reams and Mike Franzen at 3A (Former Reams Employee). Relationships create good business practices. I just took my car to Levy to have some door latch and discovered little something in my steering and Gordon took care of it "no charge". I did give the mechanic $10 for getting me in as they were very busy. Both of Gordon's guys have been there long time. One of the guys was one of my original builders of both my cobras.
Point is I always followed up and asked what expectations were going to be with repair. Friend of mine took his Mustang to Charlie and work turned out fine but man were the details discussed up front and in writing. I was there as a "witness".
These are our play toys and we want them safe and reliable. When I was first looking at Cobras and discussing builds I took the attorney friend with me for guidance and observations, just in case. As a service provided to large buildings in Phoenix dealing with attorneys and insurance companies I was prepared from past experiences. All turned out fine. **** happens so be prepared!👍
