Ok, Mike, but just for you. Not for the pony tail or any of those other guys. See you at 10:30.

What a great day for a little Cobra drive. Not too hot, not too cold, lots of sunshine.
A total of 6 of us: Scottie, Maricopa, Rattle Can Robert, Jim Cooke, DANR and moi made the trip. Had a decent lunch at The English Kitchen, which had nothing to do with English cooking, thank goodness.
Heard the HooDoo Casters play a bit and then headed back to the valley, over Mingus Mountain to Prescott Valley.
Jim was rewarded in Jerome with a noisy exhaust certificate. He SWORE he hadn't done one of his typical donuts but seems the LEO thought different. I got "bull-horned" on I17 recommending I slow down a bit. Thought it was the voice of God coming at me, but it was just the DPS Leo. Whew!

During our break someone told me about the epic police chase up the mountainside. Glad it was only a noise violation.
Thanks again for escorting me up the mountain and checking out the Spirit Room. It was a great drive except for that huge drop on the bridge outside of Black Canyon City that popped my trunk lid. Had to listen to it rattle on every bump the rest of the way up. Had a nice return drive, lots cooler and no chance of sunburn.
Oh and who was it that was interested in buying old tires? I'll be replacing my old T/As pretty soon and there's nothing wrong with them except being old and hard. 225/50 and 275/50/15s
LOL Karl, I've gotten the bullhorn twice! Scared the crap out me both times.

Geez Karl, thought you stopped for a whiz and got gored by a bull, then I read on and I see you were only testing out your new GPS speedo. Apparently it was in agreement with the LEO doing 110 trying to catch up with you . Sorry to hear about Cobra Jim's little award, hope it doesn't make the wallet to much lighter CJ. Wish I could have been with you sounds like you all had a very interesting drive.

HAH ! - That was right after he ran up on Scottie and me...
Scott pulled into the right lane, and then he ran up on me, so I changed into the right lane, and he came into the right lane after me... I thought I was cooked.
But, he stayed there for a minute, probably running my tags, then ran off to go scare Karl. {WHEW}!

"Scottie, Maricopa, Rattle Can Robert, Jim Cooke, and moi made the trip" So which one of them owns the red (not orange) car?

Danr, I was tryin' to fergit. Nice pics Robert, not so sure about all the captions, but naranja is spot on. Tell Claire she can come with us any time. She takes good pictures. Ought to get her on the Coronado Trail to see how she likes that.
