Sorry I am missing out on the fun and ice cream. I am over here in the Olde Country (U.K.) and did get this cool pen from one of my colleagues in Basingstoke who made it himself. Note the automotive motif. He has a nice Morgan also.

This is what it looks like when you're early to the Bluebonic Sonic.

If anyone is interested there is a Culver's on Shea just West of the 101 or a Culver's closer to the East side on South Country Club just South of the 60. The Shea location is open to 11pm on Fri and Sat and 10pm all other days. The Country Club location is open to 10pm every day of the week.

There is also a Coldstone creamery, and a Mojo's yogurt shop, both located in the Tempe Marketplace (east of Mclintock, south of the 202)

I like that pen, Mike! very cool...

Coldstone is good stuff. I can't get past the sour taste of yogurt, or the name: yo-gurt. Sounds like something I MAY have done after just a touch too much alcohol, back in the day.

How about Baskin Robbins at 3108 S. McClintock Dr, Tempe? (Southern & McClintock) Easy freeway access off US 60 or the 101. We could meet Thursday night so that Mr & Mrs Crawford could join us. Karl could drive his Black Vel- Vette car so his Sweetness could join him. Robert will still have to decide which child to put in the trunk though. Might even be close enough for "Grumpy" to join us.

nniets, is the BR open past 9? If so, I'll be there, in either Black or Saunt Bleu.

That's what Abraham Lincoln said last week on Facebook, and they don't call him Honest Abe for nothing!
