Default I want to be a JAFMer

Well Scotty and Karl had to buy Chevettes to have A/C and cup holders and I decided I needed that too. But being of more sound mind, I bought Lyle's Boss X. So now I too, am a JAFMer.

Another one bites the dust...

Although, I will admit that during this heat wave (which is slowly driving me toward a wicked case of cabin fever ) I have been considering the merits of an A/C equipped hot rod...

If driving my Shelby GT350 makes me a wuss I can live with that. My cobra does many things but the GT 350 can howl all the way to 8200 rpm while having the air conditioning and air conditioned seats on along with the stereo blasting!

You may not regret the purchase, but you may soon grow tired of the endless onslaught of "sissy-boy" commentary coming your way...

At least the Corvette I bought, is my wife's. I have to ask permission to drive it, unless its to fill with fuel or wash the car. I've been working on her for a few years to get a "fun" car since she doesn't like the Cobra for more than about an hour at a stretch. Whenever we'd pull into a parking lot that had a good looking Corvette, I'd mention how good she'd look in it. Finally got her convinced. My driving it back from San Diego will surely be the most miles I'll ever put on it. BTW, it is a real nice handling, braking, riding car. Just needs Mo Powr.

Doc, you couldn't have bought a car from a nicer guy. No doubt that it's in perfect condition. Just wish Lyle was feeling better so that he wouldn't want to sell his toy.

Yes, Lyle is probably the nicest fellow in the group. Sorry he had to sell it, but was more than happy to buy it! Very fun car!!! And my wife may actually be able to ride in it. Definitely quieter than the 427! Not a scratch on it. Looks like it came off the showroom floor!

Now we have Red & Blue Mustangs, we just need a white volunteer to park between us.

Doesn't Old Phart have an old white Shelby Mustang?

Been so long since Car Nut has managed to get his old car started, that I can't remember what color it is.

Congrats on your new toy Bruce.
I know the back seat is pretty tight in that car, but it got me to Golden Corral...
Kinda neat car with the 2 different keys.

I've been away from the ponies for a while. What's a Boss X?
