Default Another Auction

Attended Russo & Steele Auction this morning. About 150 cars. Great examples of old muscle bug blocks. Equal to B-J in quality. 3 cobras. 1st #3071 original with 427 side oiler, black great looking cobra. 2nd a chrom-moly frame with 289 and front roll bar claiming only 1750 lbs! built by Graham Barry in Pacific NW? 3rd a cobra with Scottsdale Motorsports sign no specs. Also another Series 1 (new 1999) with original epa stickers. Probably never sold. Only %10 entry but had to drive through mud to park.

Wouldn't CSX 3071 be continuation car and not one built in the 60's?

Just wondering how they had it listed.

I think this continuation car has been on the block since it was born. Isn't it in the Vegas car salon/museum?

Yes, it is a continuation car. Looked new. Don't know bid price since it had a high number and wouldn't come up for hours and I did not have a bidders pass to the tent.
Tried checking on russandsteele.com but no sales results.

There was also another auction rmauctions.com on 1/18. 289 Cobra CSX2116 which gat up to 110,000 bid but did not sell. From the website it looks like it has many things changed over the years.
