Default Reminder - Sunshine Acres 13-Jan

Reminder that we are making our donations to the Sunshine Acres Children's Home (Sunshine Acres Children's Home | We are a loving home for children.) on 13-Jan at 3:00 pm. We will be departing from the Chevron at Recker Rd and McDowell road at 2:45.

If you did not already drop off your donation at Ron's during our Christmas party please bring it with you on the 13th. We could still use gift cards from Michael's, Chick-fil-a and other fast food places, and for drug stores like Walgreens and CVS. If you donate a gift card please tape the receipt to it so it can be fixed in the event if an activation problem.

Thx - Mike

Back to the top. Hoping we get a good turn out for this. Doesn't have the glitz that the PCH Christmas run had but it's just as important. See everyone Saturday.

Yes thanks Dan. I would like a show of hands on who will make the run. It will be a fun and rewarding day.

We plan to be there. We're fighting colds and other maladies, but should be good to go by then.

I could do that Bruce. We need to be at Recker and McDowell at 2:30 or so, so we can get to Sunshine Acres at 3:00. It will take 30 mins to drive out there so we can meet up in central Phx at 1:45-2:00. I will be heading south on the 51 and then east on the 202 so let me know what location works best for you.

I can meet you at my office at 1:45PM. 1776 E Glendale Ave ( one block west of SR-51 on Glendale on the north side-NW corner of 18th ST and Glendale) Then we can head down the 51 and over on the 202.

Folks - a reminder to let me know if we can expect you for our donation drop off tomorrow. So far I have Bob, Robert, Bruce, Scott, Ron, Dan, Gary and myself - 8 Cobras. I know the kids would like to see the cars. I spoke to the folks at Sunshine Acres and they are expecting us at 3:00.

Bruce and Mike,
I'd like to run with you from Bruce's office. I'll be there before 1:45.

Great - with Karl on board we have 9. Anyone else - we can make it an even 10 cars going?

I will have the donations from the x-mas party with me.

Mike

Nice to see everyone today. Great to see the kids (and adults) enjoying the cars. Before I left Pastor Tim and the team thanked me for our donations and for stopping by.

That was a nice way to spend a couple hours on pleasant Saturday afternoon-

The kids all seemed to have a good time, and that's what counted most
