Default Sunday, 01/21/18 Goin fer a Ride

This coming Sunday is forecasted to be a little cooler, at this time. 62°, but I'm thinking its time for a ride. Punkin Center for a late lunch? If we get started about 11am, the temperature will be pleasant and then those that want can continue on through Roosevelt and on to Globe. Those that don't want that fun drive can do a double back flip. Meet at the traditional gas station on Shaw, just north of the Beeline, about 10:45 for an 11 o'clock lift off.

See youse.

You just "wanna Drive!".

Seems like I've been there more than enough.

4 hours is probably plenty. We'll get to Butcher Hook, after much of a lunch rush so we shouldn't get hung up very long there. Its maybe 20 miles shorter back to Mesa, by going back the way we came, but I like the ride over to Globe and then home, better.

Accu Weather is forecasting 60° and sunny. Of course we're several days away so that can certainly change. We shall see.

Would love to go for a ride on Sunday, but looks like I'll be babysitting a certain bringatrailer auction...

and I've got honeydews stacking up on top of other honeydews... I swear, these female-people can break things faster than we male-people can fix them...

and for any Az guys who might be wondering- No, it won't be my last cool-car. I've just got to get some life-related ducks in a row...

Priorities- They really suck sometimes

BaT doesn't end any auctions on Sundays, but not only will you have the chance to get some chores done, you'll also reduce the probabilities of something else breaking if you don't drive the car....

Well, at least they've taken the rain out of the forecast entirely. That was nice of them..

Thanks Gary!

Bringatrailer asks sellers to be tight-lipped until their listing is released- But now that the cat's out of the bag, I'm supposed to be telling everyone I know, hahah...

It came down to the car, or the boat, and the the boat won the coin toss. (besides- I still owe Danr and Adrianna a fishing trip, and I don't want to welch out on that )

For some reason, the wife's horses and horse-trailer weren't on the list of options... What's up with that???

But like I said- It won't be my last fun car. The creative gears in my head are already turning....

Well, after your recent escapade up in Idaho, you should be an EXPERT on what grinding gears sound like....

It's a sweet car. If I had the bucks, I'd buy it for my wife and put an automatic in it.
