Its best to run the Coast Highway after Labor Day Weekend, all the tourist have gone home, hotel prices are down, and there is less traffic

Thanks Varmit, That's my plan. I'm hoping to head out probably 09/04. I'll need to be back 13th or 14th to be able to head out on the Coronado Trail run 09/15. I may move it a week sooner since I won't be over on the CA Coast until after Labor Day. Just playing it by ear but really looking forward to it.
