That was mostly a great trip. Some really good memories in there. Some really nice looking cars and some great looking people. Let's do it again!.

There are some really nice pictures there and it looks like a fun drive. Hope to see more when you do it again.

Its under 600 miles from God's Country and with "moderate" traffic, about 8 1/2 hours. SOME people could make it quicker. You just have to want to.
Don't know if James and Kendra are still there. Last time we'd talked, they were not happy with the ownership and talked about maybe moving on. Wouldn't be the same without them, but still a cool place and good as a base for day trips.

Maybe we should think about stopping by the Danish colony there at Solvang. I still want a pecan roll didn't get one last time.

Danr, Is Adriana twisting your arm?
I'm sure Aliedog would be overjoyed to go back there.
It was a nice ride to get there, but the town is just totally la tourista.

Dan,
I went to the 8th grade at Santa Ynez and spent a lot of time at Solvang. But I know that in all these years they have both changed a lot. My Father was a Foreman on the Chuchuma Dam project and the tunnel they drill through the mountain to send water to Santa Barbara. I really liked it down there back then.
