Well the sun will shine and it will be cold and clear. unfortunately it looks like Carl's going to be right about anything going up a mountain. There's probably going to be if not snow at least ice on the roads until the sun comes out and melts it what should be about midday. so if you want to do a run up a mountain I suggest we do it at lunch time rather than breakfast. Or one of the trips South like Ralph recommended. But somebody needs to make a decision to make a call so we know where we're going and when we're going and what we're going to do when we get there. Who's going to step up?

I would like to delay the run to the higher country. Temps Sunday and road surface conditions are not a good combo as several people noted. Not sure going south will be much better. If so, what date would work? Sunday the 13th might be good.

Both eating places are open out here at Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch.
They take plastic and cash.
Excellent food and great burgers.
Can sit in or out under heaters if needed.
Just a suggestion.
“Watch out” at Roundabout entrance for other traffic.

Great place to Park your cars.
Come through security gate and tell guard you are there to eat at Jakes.
Sit around fire pits everywhere and chill.
Those of you that haven’t been out here it is located at last roundabout off 93 north out of Wickenburg just before 89 split off.

Just heard that the high in the valley is going to be 54 degrees on New year's day. Given temps like that I think I'll wait until later in the year for the New year's day run after it warms up a bit.

My body is still atuned to 90° plus. 54 degrees is what you find in the refrigerator.

Isn't 54 the chill temp for red wine? We are good to go for at least 9 months of the year, not counting the early morning drives in the summer. I'll wait!!

It was snowing in wickenburg when I left for work this morning. For what that's worth. We have had to make other plans for New Years day, so even if you do a qick run, we can't join. Happy New Year to all

I recommend March 21st, which is the Iranian New Year. Weather should be great then!

If it’s dry I am going somewhere in the afternoon. I don’t mind the cold. FE likes the cold too....

Well... looked like it was going to clear up a bit so thought about getting the car ready...and now it is sleeting at my house. So scratch that.

Btw Tom I was in your neighborhood this weekend (Bellevue and Issaquah) and yes it was pretty nasty esp on Saturday. I brought it all down here to Phx now....

Darn Mike, I wish you would have reached out to me, or another member up here. We, 4 club members (Larry, Duane, Brent and myself) went to another members (Bruce's) house Sat. to see his Christmas present, (New 347 Stoker ) for his FFR. While we were there, Brent mentioned he was looking for a Alum. trailer to build a Serpent Express, so just down the road there was just what he was looking for on Craigslist. So he got his Christmas present too You could have been part of this fun & madness. Brent lives in Issaquah, and could of picked you up. Please next you're up this way, reach out to us, we'd be more then happy to hang with you. Cheers Tom.

Will do and sounds like you guys had more fun than me. I was helping my son move from Bellevue over to Issaquah so fighting that rain all day with the U-Haul and moving furniture.

Didn’t see any Cobras out and about that’s for sure.

Mike
