Default New Years Day Run

Gary proposed a New Years Day Run like we have had in the past. Weather permiting, I will join you however, you should know the Ranch House Restaurant in Yarnell is closed every Mon, Tues and Wed so they cannot be the target of the journey.

They won't serve you unless you are in leathers and patches.

Check out the Vulture Mine road running south from Wickenburg to I10, and then back. It's a winding road with long curves and higher speeds. Nice foothills too. You guys might enjoy it.

Great, sounds like we’re going. Back to my original question; where are we meeting and what time? Thanks! Greg

Gary what do you think? I’m an early riser so early is good for me. What about we meet at the Chevron at I-17 and Carefree Highway for a departure at 7:45? That should get us to Wickenburg by 8:30 and into Yarnell by around 9:00. Quick break and we can be back in Wickenburg for breakfast by 9:45 or so?

The Ranch House Restaurant in Yarnell and in Wickenburg, the Horseshoe Café and the Cowboy Cookin Restaurant are both closed on New Years Day. I have called them all. The Run will have to pick alternate food source. Any suggestions?

What used to be the rim view cafe in pine has reopened and is now called that brewery and pub. According to their web page they open at 11 a.m. . What about a lunch run leaving the Shell station on Shea boulevard at about 10:15? If this sounds interesting I'll call and find out if they're going to be open New year's day.

Chains of studded show tires for Pine??
Personally, I'm hoping for the weather to be bad enough to postpone the run(to where ever) so I can get back in town to participate. I WANNA DRIVE!
