Did this run last spring. Made it to Strawberry for pancake breakfast sponsored by the B oy Scouts. Had lunch at La Pasada . Neat place. Managed close to 135 on way back. A brief glimpse so could be 133 to 135. Still had approximately 500 more RPM. Have fun. The flat bed Ford is on the corner. Ice cream was good Karl on SW corner.

We waited for Ralphie in Payson and he came in only 10-15 minutes late. I gave stattic about not letting us know but when he told me he didn't make up his mind until 2, this morning, I told him that it was just fine that he didn't call then.
The ride was outstanding. Got nipply at 7500' elevation but there was very little melt off on the pavement and no ice was encountered. The road surface north of Payson was pretty iffy in many places, probably from snow plows. The rough road kept speeds down and I think 100 was touched only a few times. Considering the unobstructed view and straightness south of Winslow, that's quite restrained. Or maybe it was Mark in the lead, with Lisa's sharp elbow beside him?

Lisa doesn't like when I "scare" her, so I had to go slow.
Paid off though. 3 DPS on 260. One of them was getting drug up onto a flat bed. All at the end of passing lanes for the opposite direction.
