Trip Recap
Oh, the pain. Got out my trusty calculator and figggggered my gas purchases on my road trip, that just ended:
Total Miles 5483.5
Fuel Cost $1243.74
Gallons 351.1
Av/Gal $3.54
MPG 15.6
That's a fairly hefty thirst for such a little engine but there are eight hungry throats demanding juice. Engine RPMs may possibly had some bearing on my fuel consumption.

It's not much different from my truck which gets 14-15 on long road trips. We just got back from Colorado and over 2000 miles averaged 31.4 with the Honda CRV. Best mileage we've ever gotten with any car before.

Yadda yadda yadda...."check's in the mail" One of the three greatest lies.
Right up there with:
"honest, its only a cold sore"
I decided to not list the third since it might be a tad offensive. God forbid, I'd offend...

Karl is one of our perennial "IRON BUT" award winners. He's a "Butt-In" (like shoe-in) favorite for this year again. This photo is from last December.

That mileage looks good to some of us. My cobra for example is driven mainly on short trips on Sunday.

Nova "Money well spent"
Absolutely frickin worth it. I still can't get over what a great time I had.
Now, trying to figure out where to go next. I've done the Western coast several times so I'll look elsewhere. Don't care for freeways, unless I'm in a hurry, but at least 70-80% of this past trip was not freeway. Most excellent!
