Sunday 10/06/19 Sorta Different Drive
Rackin my meager brain cells trying to think of some place different for a drive. Hows about going to Wickenburg, go South on Vulture Mine Road (pretty straight but lots of Whoop-tee-Do's) to I10 and back to the Valley? Excellent breakfasts in Wickenburg at the Wagon Wheel.
The weather is just too nice to Not drive.
Any other suggestions are certainly welcome.

Bigger and Better:
Leave Carefree Hwy and I17 at 7.
Go to Wickenburg, have Breakfast.
Go through Yarnell to head North for Kirkland, Yava, Hillsdale, Bagdad.
Come back on 97 to 93, head back to Wickenburg.
Not nearly as much freeway as going down to I10 from Vulture Mine.
Mo Bettr, Mo Bettr, Mo Bettr.

Karl, Saturday I have 2 grandson baseball game 11:30am in Paradise Valley so I may have to restrict my run to the Vulture Mine Road Route to Aguila Rd to I-10 so I can make it home by 11am.
Your extended route adds about 100 miles and too much time. Could do it Sunday but not Saturday. See you at Chevron for 7am departure.

Not So Fun Day
Day started out OK but on way to Wickenburg with Karl & Scotty must have driven over something. Wrecked the day. Scott offered his tire patch kit. Thanks, funny man. Karl & Scotty went on to breakfast and a long run. Nothing they could do to help anyway. Waited about an hour. Home about 10:30am.
Will order 2 new rear tires Monday. My 7th set. Car is up on jack stands. $259 tow bill. did not renew my AAA last March since I haven't used it in years. OOPS! Will renew now.

3 start out, 2 finish
Had a good run. Would have been better if Bob made it. All you guys have to do the Bagdad run. Lots of nice curves, and beautiful desert scenes.

Sorry to hear you destroyed your tire, hope you didn't break anything else. Good ad for AAA, think I'll make sure I have AAA once my car is back on the road.

That's tough Bob sorry to hear it. At least you survived and you're in one piece with nothing broken on you that is.

Sorry I missed this one guys. Traveling again. Sorry to hear about your tire Bob - The bright side is that it does not look like you did any more damage, and nobody was hurt.
I really think on these longer runs, we need to have someone follow us in a van with extra tires and parts. I volunteer Keith to do that :-)
