I spoke with Jeff at the Bear Wallow restaurant in Alpine. He's expecting about half our group around 12:30 to 1 pm, and the second group, the ones on the trail, 30 minutes later. He closes the doors at 2, and asked that we don't show up right before he closes. If the Trail group decides to eat at Hanagan's Meadow, that's fine.

I made a dinner reservation at Safire (American/Mexican) for 17 people at 6:30. This includes Doc, who I did not see a response for until yesterday. Is there anyone else, who is going, but hasn't posted?
Thanks

I don't think so. Patty works in the medical field and has to maintain isolation . They will be missed. Gary

The Trail group should eat at Hannigan's Meadow if they can't get to Alpine by 1:30.

Don't forget chairs, car covers and scotch. Maybe a cigar or two.

Apache Gold opened today, 09/18, per their phone msg. I think the gas station has been open but the casino was closed. It'll be my gas stop before Safford.

Thanks, Mark. I think I'll be fine but have other things keeping me busy before the run that will keep me from straightening out the Cobra.

Ralph from Cottonwood, it'll be good to meet you but be warned: DO NOT follow anyplace that Danr Shinn leads
or believe 70% of what he tells you.
