There is another Kirkham for sale on Barrett Jackson’s online auction ending tomorrow. Bids are to $99000 but haven’t hit reserve. Their online auctions are the first time in 20 years they have allowed sellers to put reserves on their cars.

Not true about reserves. They've had reserves available for the past 5 years or so but not sure how much longer. When I sold my GT in Vegas I wanted reserved but they talked me out of it and it turns out there were no reserve cars. Craig told me they were trending away from it. Seller's consignment fee and commission were higher for reserve cars. There are also value limits. They're very high in Scottsdale, 500K I think. The Vegas limit was 400k...

You are correct but the reserves were 5-10 cars out of 2000 and only for higher end cars. The last year they went fully no reserve or only 1 or 2 cars had a reserve. This is 85 cars our of 98 cars are at reserve and much lower priced cars. All of it due to the online only auction

It will go back to to 98% being no reserve after they go back with Live auctions I would guess but we will see
