Yea, I'd rather watch the Cards perform perform 'way below their pay grade.

2 questions,
We are meeting at the Chevron next to the Waffle house on 60 and Idaho correct?
Also how many cars can we expect for tomorrow so we know if we need to wait prior to heading out?

Karlos, sometimes you have recognize the inherent weaknesses of the situation.

Grkmf3, we will leave at 10:00 as stated in the trip description unless someone gets lost and calls in.

Grkmf3 I don't know just how many cars will be showing up. Some people are coming up with feeble excuses to not get out in the nipply weather.

As Danr said, we'll make our lift off at 10, unless someone calls in for us to wait.

Geno, nice to meet you and glad you came with us.
NoVa, youse missed a nice ride.
Bruce H. what's your feeble excuse?
We started with 8 Cobras and R.B. Moore's '64 Corvette.
Lost Danr to a flat tire after only maybe 15 miles.
Newbie Chris took off from Superior to go to Globe, I think. (good to meet you, too)
Al and Patty met us at the restaurant and was excellent to see them again.
We had totally dry pavement, nice sunshine, and nipply temps in the lower 40°s but everyone dressed for it and I didn't hear any growling about being cold. My son-in-law and I did not get uncomfortable at all. I had him drive home after lunch and he enjoyed bussing along the two lane blacktop.
Others attending were Greg (without Vikki), Gary, with Vikki, Jim Cooke, RVNDOV from up North. I've got a nice group photo but can't seem to manage to post it. Hopefully someone else can.
I did get a surprise when guy I worked with, decades ago, showed up. He lives in Tucson and has a Cobra but currently has some sort of physical issue that prevents his being able to get out of the car, so he drove his Beemer. Real nice to see him and catch up a little.
Darn nice day!

Ralph and I were at the Speedway gas station in Florence gasing up. The local finest stopped to chat about vintage cars speeding and reckless driving. Wanted to say i am never reckless but chose not to. He has a 65 mustang and doing his job. I did think about asking if a red or dark purple car were suspect. Saw Gregg drive by before visit.

The officer did mention that they get a lot of calls from people on a regular basis. A nice way to give us a heads up. Life must be slow in the Florence area......

Mark, another of the no-shows, likes Florence. He's very friendly with the local LEOs and has spent time in joyful conversations with them.
