There was some talk at the route 66 show about the trip we took to California a few years back. It was proposed that we look at another trip up to California coast this year. So in that direction who if anyone other than a couple of us would be interested in a drive from say Malibu up to fort ord along the coast? If you think you could do something like that or you'd like to do something of that throw your name up here and let's take a look at it.

It's only about 300 miles from Malibu to the old Fort Ord. Were you maybe thinking of Fort Bragg. That's about 600 miles and a lot more coast line.
If the dates align for me, I'll be more than willing but I'm taking a trip up to the Black Hills around the first couple weeks of September. Let me know when you firm up on dates.

Ralph and Bruce, I've done the CA coast twice in my Cobra and hope the timing works that I can do it again. Its a very splendiferous drive!

You know, you guys are ALWAYS welcome to come to the Shelby Bash in Las Vegas in September. There are plenty of things to do. ALL Cobras are welcome! It would be nice to have a bunch of Cobras there from Arizona!
