Default Finally finished

Finally finished with the MK4... had thoughts of selling along the way and so glad I decided against it, I love the car and came out just how I wanted it.

I have my level 2 inspection this coming week, had it out for a few short rides and it runs out and drives great.

I am still in need of a local "coyote tuner" again the car runs great but does run a bit rich (I can smell it) and the idle is too high ( about 900 rpm)

I reached out to a few recommendations but had no reply contact.
I am in the far northwest valley (Surprise) so if it can be tuned at my house or close great, I would also bring it where needed and will pay well either way.

Any help would be appreciated and looking forward to getting out there and meeting some of you.

Gen 1 coyote new through FFR complete kit

Looks great Robert. Perhaps your coyote specialist is at your local Surprise Ford Dealer Service Dept?

Thanks Bob, I am of the impression through conversations that's not really a possibility... unless a "side job"

This being a FFR with a JDM tune wouldn't be something a dealership would take as a job.

A friend of mine recommended this shop. Looks to be about 10-15 miles from you in Glendale.

Good idea spdbrake. I had my GT500 on their dyno. Looks like a knowledgeable performance shop.

The car looks great. The MK4 body is really nicely proportioned and makes a great looking car.

Robert - nice looking car. I hope all goes well with the inspection
Congratulations on getting there (something I'm looking forward to with mine as well).

Cheers!

It is a beautiful car! I have been on the fence a couple of times myself about letting go of my project. But I really need to see it thru as you did.

RobertK....always remember that the car wants to kill you. NEVER hit the loud pedal until the car is going straight. My 2¢

That being said, enjoy the hellllout of the car. I'm closing in on 90,000 miles on my second Cobra and it still makes me smile with every mile.

I'm still on the hunt for a tuner at the moment, I did message with Keith at Modern Performance and will use them if it comes down to it.

They don't take appointments... it's just a drop off process and they will get to it, I travel for work and have to arrange a truck/trailer for transport, its just difficult while traveling to schedule this without an appointment. I am also not thrilled about just leaving my car for days for a 2-5 hour procedure... again will use them if I can't find another but still looking for now.

Awesome and thanks so much... I've had multiple Vipers over the past several years including Gen 1 and 2 so I got used to that kind of driving and frankly love that about these cars. I am not a very aggressive driver on the streets just spirited. I was worried about over driving this car with the hydro brakes and power steering but love it now.

Thank you, I'm loving it so far... it's been a blast though a little hot out.

I see your in Carefree area, once the weather cools a bit I'm usually up in Cave Creek on the bike or in the car, maybe I will see you up there in yours

Several of us drive frequently early in the morning. Let us know if. You want company. I like. Running out to Bartlett lake then back to the grotto for breakfast. Let me know.
