Default Cobra Alignment Phoenix

I took my Cobra in for an alignment yesterday since I'd just changed the rack bellows and tie rod ends. I was very careful with the length of the tie rods but thought it would be a good idea anyway. Years ago, I'd taken my other Cobra to Jack's Alignment at 2902 East Thomas, Phx and was glad to see that they were still in business. I had the specs from ERA for my 289FIA and the mechanic had no problem using them. So nice to have a mechanic that can do more than key specs into a computer. (I didn't see any computers anywhere!) A REAL mechanic understands the geometry and and knows what it takes to do the job properly. Hats off to JACKS ALIGNMENT!
My 2¢ worth.

There's an oooold man local that's been in the business as long as I can remember. In the early eighties I had a Z-car or two. When I'd take one in for an alignment, he'd ask if I was usually driving alone.

He'd put two sacks of sand in the driver's seat and do the alignment. He was dead on.

I did stay seated in my car for the alignment, as recommended by ERA.
