Default Route 66 Fun Run

I realize that it's still a bit early, but May will be here before you know it. If you haven't already signed up, call the Arizona Route 66 Association in Kingman and get signed up. (928)753-5001. I will call Red Roof and see what kind of deal we can get.

Be sure, if you're going up with the rest of the crew, that you indicate you will pick up your goody bag in Seligman!

We'll get back from a trip on the 4th so hopefully my jet lag won't be terrible. I'm planning on doing the run again.

A better way is call Kim at 614-506 2407. This works best. She is a rep for Red Roof and is up to speed for event.

Typically, not much more than an hour or 60-70 miles. One exception being the Coronado Trail, 168 miles 3:30.

"Can a Cobra go that far. 10MPG? and come in on fumes?"

Whole lot depends on your right foot.

Several of the guys are running stroked SBF 427s and they do better than 10MPG

I carry a flat 2 gal gas can in my passenger foot box just for peace of mind when I'm on extended trips where I don't know the proximity of fuel stops.

You could stop in Morenci for fuel and cut it down to 117 miles. There are no gas stations for 117 miles.
Where's your tach at at 70 mph?
