Default Hotel Info 2023 Coronado Trail

I spoke with Tana at the Eager Best Western Motel and blocked off 6 rooms for Friday night, 10/06 and then an additional 12 rooms for Saturday, 10/07 for a total of 18. She's giving us a good rate of about $105/night and if you have a Western Rewards Card, AAA, AARP, or Happen to be a Senior Citizen, there might be a special GEEZER DISCOUNT.
Everyone is responsible for booking and paying for their own room. The phone number is 928-333-2540. Do Not Press One, for reservations but rather wait for the desk clerk to answer the phone and then mention that you are with the AZ Cobra Club.

I got mine.

Jan, don't think I'd be holding my breath.

You're a braver man than I, Gunga Din, to keep riding with Jimmy.

LOL - has been an eye opening experience riding shotgun - however still better than missing the adventures.

And for the most part he is staying on the correct side of the road.

J&J, glad to hear that you'll be joining us. It's certainly a fun drive, either the trail or the alternate drive in NM.

That drive up Western New Mexico seems like a really long haul. It lacks the excitement of driving up the trail and making all those turns. But the red car will be there with me behind the wheel and my better half riding shotgun to protect me from the Indians and the bad guys and the cliffs that jump out and bite me.

I prefer the NM route. Quite a few nice sweeping high speed turns and even a few 20MPH ones. It may be a few miles longer but takes about the same amount of time without all the 460 turns in the 119 miles that the Trail has.

AND....I have not had very good luck on the Trail.

Booked and ready. Working out details for a friend to fly in and ride shotgun. Should be a really nice trip. I like the down the trail, back up NM side as well. Very nice day in the car.
Also on the 3 day plan with my west side homies.
