Default Does anybody remember me ?

I haven’t been here for a very long time. I just wanted to visit and see what’s up with old gang.
The wife and I plan to come and visit Phoenix the last week of April then go to the Route 66 Fun Run. I thought perhaps if the clubs intends to go we would like to tag along. We want to make reservation with the group if possible.
We really look forward to seeing the folks and meet the new members.

Hersh😊

Hersh,

Always wondered where you went, I supposed, at least today, you are hunkered down watching the snow fall.

Thank God you're still alive. Of course we remember you, although there are probably a lot less of us that do!

Hersch, glad to hear that you are finally going to make it back for the Rt 66 run. R U going to bring the AMX?

Since CC has been pretty spotty, about 90% of our postings and activities has switched over to the Arizona Cobra Club on Face Book. It's a closed group but I have no doubt that your application would be approved:

Hershel, as I live and breathe. So good to hear from you. We miss your stories and jokes. 2 and 3 May at Baymont by Windom, Kingman. 928-757-1188. There will be more info on our FB site soon. You can follow us in your rental, or we'll make room in 2 cobras. My passenger seat is almost always empty. If weather bad, I'll be in the Mustang.

Guys, thanks so much for your reply’s I have good memories of all that responded and surely appreciate that.
Paula and have arranged our vacation around April 26th and May 7th. At the end of the fun run we will spend two days in Laughlin. Then it’s time to head home.
So any meet ups before the fun we would like to come along.
For those who wonder about my Cobra Franky girl I still have her. I just can’t seem to sell her after 38 yrs. I just put on a new Edelbrock stage 4 injection system. She runs great .
Yes Karl I’m bringing my 1970 AMX to the fun run. Her name is Goldie.
Thanks so much for info Bob. I’ll try and get on Facebook with my wife’s account I have none and don’t use any of those type sites

Hersh,

I recall you! We went to the Double Venom Spring Fling in a parade of 20+ Cobras driving from DC to Columbus OH with the Capital Area Cobra Club making a BBQ stop in Fairmont WV in I think 2003. Or maybe 2002?

I also recall my Cobra was brand new at that time and you seemed to be determined to hit every puddle with your GT40 so you could spray it as we went along LOL

I still have the same Cobra. If you make it to FL let us know.

Tom

Bill, I wound up in Texas. There is no snow. In the winter it’s mostly in fifties during the day and 30’s at night. Still have my cobra for 38yrs . My new ride is a 1970 AMX .
