Fun times at Hersh's place!
Well Scott and I arrived from Australia a couple of days ago, and we've had some fun helping Hersh get his GT40 ready for the Fling.
IT WILL GET THERE IT WILL GET THERE IT WILL GET THERE...... We have to keep telling ourselves that. A lot of progress was made with the engine management system today to the point that Hersh ended up jumping around the garage screaming and shouting. Why - the motor made all the right noises this afternoon:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: You'll just have to ask him what he thinks about the sound, but from where I was standing - it sounds FANTASTIC!!!!! ......and today was the first time that I've ever driven a left hand drive Cobra. I sure hope I get used to shifting with my right hand:confused:

Houston, We have ignition ! Man ! what a sound. She sounds SSSSWEEEET !!!. I can't wait to get the rear clip on and give it a test drive. We had Caronas all around for the celebration. I didn't know the "Aussie" group had left, let alone arrived! And Hersch has his car running to boot. Boy's, I am pumped!! I am so looking forward to meeting everyone again. I only hope Hersch has kept to his agreed story, instead of telling telling the truth about "DV" to the new guys! :) See you soon!
