BT Snake wins..
Hersh, is not normally a waxer kind of guy. He drove his GT40 from Phoenix to Pinetop. About a 4 hour drive. Hersh generally places a placard on his cars that say ... Do not Judge. His daughter veto'd that this past weekend. (She drove the family car bringing up the essentials. No storage space in a GT40)
Hersh got to the show about 3 hours late and still managed to take third place in the catagory. I feel if he got there at opening, the class would have been his.
The story does not end...Hersh took the Mayor's trophy.
Congrats Hersh.

Hersh - congratulations!!!! Four hours of laying back in those comfortable seats, taking in the Arizona scenery with the air conditioner set on chill... what a way to spend a weekend!
Three hours late???? What happened, did you find some winding mountain roads as a convenient little three hour detour. Could Angela keep up with you???

Way to go Hersh! Too bad you got caught behind that local parade.
Hershal was only involved in about half of the voting time frame because he got delayed by a slow moving parade.
The car looked great!

Craig...
Hersh got a late start on Saturday Morning. The rest of us were there by Friday afternoon.
The trip up to Pinetop from Phx is about 200 miles...150 of which is mostly twisty turny roads. That means 300 miles of FUN in a weekend.

Glad to see him driving the car! Cars are designed to drive, not trailer
Enjoy!

THANKS GUYS !!
I sure enjoyed the show. I was truley amazed at how well the GT40 was recieved by all the people. I was not prepared for the avalanche of questions that people were asking.
Yes, the parade was a delay but there also was an accident that they sent us around and that threw us because we had a
time trying to find the show grounds.
He had a great time and most certainly will return to The Run to the Pines next year.
Hersh
