Battery bites the dust
My battery bite the dust tonight big time. With the weather being so nice my wife wanted to take the Cobra to work tommorrow. Being that it has been a while since she drove it we decided to take a drive around the neighborhood. Well it seem to me that she shifted from 2nd to 5th so I had her pull over and turn the car off to show the difference. We go to start the car and it went click and the voltmeter drop back down to zero. My wife saw a guy working in his garage and asked him for a jumpstart. No start, so I pushed it to the guy house and we hooked up a heavy-duty batttery charger/jumpstart, still no go. We got a quick ride home and I loaded up the car with a jack and some tools. That wasn't a box of chocolates. I couldn't get to the ground on the battery so I took it off of the frame, bad idea so now I have to find a new permanent home for my ground cable. It's temporary home is the clamp for the parking brake cable, but it got my home. I'll drilling a new home for it tommorrow.
