Default Thanks for the drive, Mike!

So how many guys do you know that would toss you the keys to his Cobra? Yup -- took Mike's car out for my first Cobra drive today. Upon returning to the house, I think my exact quote was "I think I can get used to that" -- accompanied by a huge grin.

Oh -- and he came all the way out to my house to deliver a t-shirt. 38 miles. I guess everyone needs an excuse to take their car out for a spin.

Car drives great. FR 15:1 rack is smooth and sure. Tri-States seats are comfy, too.

So as Mike leaves, somehow a little rubber got laid down on the asphalt in front of my house. Wonder how that happened?????

My younger daughter says "Daddy, that's a loud car." I just smile.

Thanks Mikie.

Ben

P.S. - Thanks for the hot dog buns, too!

Wow, what a deal! I'm still in shock from the ride in Jason's FFR. Mike H. I got Cobra shirts brand new in the box here if you're out ridin' around near 32nd & Shea (hint-hint)

Ben,

Any time....It was a pleasure being able to let you have the wheel of 2290.

As far as the the rubber left in the street..well, the go pedal decided it wanted to go the the floor and then the Carb decided to open all thruttle plates full. That allowed more fuel than is necessary for a smooth startup so the tires decided to slow forward movement by spinng off the excess energy.

See you later.

Mike

OH -- I like that explanlation of laying down rubber. Too funny.

By the way -- the bad part about taking one for spin? It leaves you wanting more. Know of any low cost slab sides?
