Default Battleship grey is not such a bad color for the Spec Racer?

I can live with that for a year.

Mike,

Some people like to show and some people like to go. And then there are those that like to go faster.

After putting around in the silver one I knew I must either go big block or add mods to the 302. I never have felt comfortable with nitrous even though they say it is safe to use if done right.

I just decided not to hold back and build the engine how I want it. If you are going to do something, might as well do it right the first time. I went with the Spec Racer because of all the goodies I could get for the same price I sold my stock Cobra for by building it myself. I have the suspension I want and safety set up, why stop short on the engine. You only live once in the flesh and might as well enjoy your only trip in the flesh.

These are just toys and we don't take them with us when we check out of this world. What you might take is the memories that come with it. We don't seek the metal or fiberglass for mere possession, rather the intangible things it gives us.

I will tolerate the pokes as I have in the past. It is only paint after all. Let me know how the rear looks all primered when I get it up and running

I think I am going with my first instinct on this one. Most of the time people regret when they second guess something and do not stick to their first choice.

Hey, mine is still in primer. I don't take too much heat for it other than from my wife.

Hey, Flipper....I have no problem with a primered car...

It's just that we have history of picking on Jason.

I hope his car is faster than mine. With the SC it should be.
