Thanks for your input, I was starting to feel orphaned. I have gotten a few more ideas in person at the last car show. I am trying to make sure my kit address's each thing I learn about. The door latch is a double bearclaw that does not loosen up or not latch well and has a potential for remote opening with a poper and if not remote is still moved to an easy to reach spot in or out of car. I am also building a door bar into or enclosed in the door as a side impact issue. I have a lower than others floor and increased footbox area to make more room for everybody but extra nice for larger drivers. I am also working the kinks out of a bar that goes from side to side for roll bar attachment, it is up high or near the body so I do not loose storage space. The head scratching is to keep it structually sound. My friend from Comp Chassis is keeping me on track. The bigger trick is keeping the body removable with a certifiable cage or bars.
I am looking for a used hard top if anybody knows of one around. I do not care for what kit as I will modify to fit my needs.
