Mikec, what is the latest on the trip to Ohio ? Mike F told me that Hershal will be flying back to Penn. to get his car, GT-40, and will join us in London. Who is going from Phoenix ? The last that I heard was Paul and you. Is that still correct ? I spoke with Mike F twice over the weekend and we are considering going via a southern route to Santa Rosa, N.M. and then on I-40. I realize that there will be a few more changes between now and the time that we leave. I did install MikeF's, FFR, black seats in my Cobra. Do you have a seat pad or sheepskin cover that you can use? I will bring a compass for you as well as State road maps. John

I was just gonna post and ask Hershal where the gathering point would be for the trip out. The last I heard was you and MikieF would be here on Monday night the 16th. I did not know that Hershals GT was in Penn.

Ginny and I are flying out. As far as I know Paul and Lyle are going from here. I'll get an email out tonight and ask.

I'll ask those that are considering going to contact either you or MikieF.

The plan as of Wednesday 9:27am are that the Tucson Group (Mikef & John- Tucson) will leave Tucson Tuesday Am of their choosing. The Phx Group (myself, Lyle & Brandon, Jack & Barb) will leave form Phx Tuesday AM at a time & place to be determined Saturday at The Anthem Motors event. We will be meeting the Tucson group in Amarillo, TX on Tuesday night. This plan is subject to change.....

Hi to Paul, Lyle and Jack. Neither Mike F nor I thought that there would be three of you leaving from Phoenix. We had ASSUMED that Paul was the only one committed to the trip. There was a crack in the communication link. Right now we. MikeF and I, plan to join I-40 at Santa Rosa, N.M. then on into Amarillo. Mike F has made room reservations at the "Motel 8" on the east side of Amarillo. I believe that he has two rooms reserved. That can be changed by a simple phone call to "Motel 8". He also has rooms reserved in Rolla, Mo. Paul, are you ramrodding the departure from Phoenix? If so, please contact MikeF about the rooms and directions to the motels. Another item, Jim, "crillyiv@pacbell.net " from California would like to join us. He will be at the Grand Canyon on Monday, June 16th, and was coordinating with Hershal about meeting us at a rest stop east of Holbrook. I was really rushed to leave for work this morning and screwed up a long email to Jim. Can you possibly contact him and coordinate meeting with him? He would like to join us for the entire trip to London. I'm glad that you are able to roll with the punches. Mike and I plan to leave Tucson about 7:00am on Tuesday. Remember that there is a two (2) hour time change between here and Amarillo. John

I will email my cell number to those of you who have emailed me directly. I am going to make a res. at the hotels in Amarillo and Rolla that have been mentioned.

I don't know where I am staying at the Grand Canyon, or in the area. I am hoping/planning to nail that down, but it won't be the first time I've taken my chances if I don't by Mon.
