Talking Moving to AZ

Hello Arizona! Moving to Phoenix area later this summer. Need some advice on registering my car as a 1965. Built in 2001. How have you guys done it?

Thanks,
Scotty

Welcome Scott,
What are the details, a new completion registered for the first time or already titled and as a 66 or a 2001. If it is now a 66 you can just xfer title. If currently registered and titled as 2001 you will have your hands full on a xfer of title trying to change to a 66. If just finishing and first title it is a piece of cake. I am not even close to understanding how DMV works but if statement of origin from kit company calls it a 1966 replica and you show that to DMV they will title as a 66 after inspection level 3 is completed.

Welcome to the sunny, sunny land.

As Jeff said... However, if it is already registered then I'm not sure. You might want to send Chopper an email as he changed over from his Penn. registtration to AZ.

Mike
