Default Free Things from my garage

No, not the Cobra (sorry Ben).

I have a few odd parts laying around and I am tired of tripping over them. All are available for the ridiculously low price of free.

I do not want to deal with shipping so I am offering them to the locals. Parts are at 35th ave and Bell - I travel daily to the 101 and Chaparral so whatever is easier.

DSS main support for a 5.0L, aluminum (used)

Valve Covers, FMS cast / plated style (not the Cobra pieces), fair condition - chrome started to peel off the pass side. Used, obviously. Off of my Mustang 5.0L

Comp Cams hardened pushrods, 7.300" long, 0.080" dia. ball end. New

Cole Hersee battery cutoff switch - external mount. New

Dual fans for the front of your Cobra's radiator. Dayton 12v motors and 5 blade fans. Used but work fine.

Auto Meter Sport Comp #3911 tach (5") with shift light. New in box. Just the thing to make your car look like a ricer. Saved the best for last.

I am sure I will trip over some more stuff when these parts go away, like the Mopar 318, and 8-3/4" housing that are sitting behind my gate.

Bill,

What is it that you are interested in?

As luck would have it my dad and I are heading your way over Labor Day weekend. Driving from AZ to CT.

Jeff C.

email me at : jguisto@fenderusa.com

Ok here is the update. Lots of ricer folks wanted the tach, Stuart was the first to ask and he is getting that along with a set of fans.

The battery switch is spoken for and because it is small its going to MD (that's Maryland not doctor).

The offer is still open, parts are sitting in the garage gathering dust.

I'll take any of the 5.0, Mustang type stuff you might have..........heading out this way, I would think your going to cross the rt 80/78/287 line somewhere.....I'm just off rt 80 here in NJ...........

Bill,

I'll drag the main suppport and valve covers with me. My guess is that we will be passing through your neck round about Tuesday the 2nd of September. If we miss, I'll have my brother in CT get the stuff to you.

Email me off line and we can figure it out.

That should round out the Mustanf parts.

All that is left - a set of pushrods.

Next time - Mopar parts.
