Hello Mikiec and Hersh, I'm flying out of PHX on this Thursday for Columbus, OH. My daughter and son-in-law have the Cobra now. They live in Kentucky and will pick me up in Columbus. I'll spend a few days with them and the grandkids and start back on Sunday, Aug. 31st. My plan is to drive to southwestern Oklahoma the first day and spend the night and next day with close friends there. From there it's on to Tucson, arriving about 9:00pm on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. My son, in Toledo, OH., had the Cobra for a month and daughter has had it for a month. The day after our daughter picked it up I spoke with our son-in-law and he said that they had used three tanks of gas in about 36 hours. They have driven it all over northern Kentucky and the Cincinatti area. As Hersh has said - they don't want to return it to me. Their twin boys, age 11, have even driven it around the neighborhood. ( aaaah the joys of an AOD ). I'm a bit concerned about that hurricane down in Mexico because it is moving so slowly and I might run into a lot of rain in N.M. and AZ. on my last day coming home. Oh well, it won't be the first or last time that it's been driven in the rain. My September calendar is completely filled up with events that I must attend. However, Sept. 26,27,& 28 is the "Run to the Pines " as well as the "Snakes to the Lake" and I am hopeing to get to California for the Lake Tahoe trip - any of you guys interested ? John PS. The Tucson guys are asking for the Arizona Cobras windshield decal, do you have any of the small ones left ? If so, I'll be in PHX on the 13th & 14th for a seminar and perhaps I could get them from one of you.

John,
That hurricane will be way gone by the time you get to NM.
I will cut some more Arizona Cobra decals as soon as I can find
an old computor to hook the vinyl cutter to. The one I had finally bit the dust.
Have fun on your way back !
Hersh

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYY you guys, we had a gully washer about three hours ago. Lots of lightning and heavy rain. Power lines were downed by the wind (hersh, roll cloud) 1/2 mile from our house. Our cable TV is still out. And for you Mikie - NO- we are not expecting a baby next May !!! I did try ! I spoke with our son-in-law he changed the oil in the Cobra and has put 2,200 miles on it. I tried to explain that they can't drive it from Nov. to April and that it will be a "clutter item in the garage" but they still don't want me to take the car back to Tucson. I've tried to explain to our daughter that life is unfair and besides - it's my Cobra. Anyway, son-in-law has requested an info packet from FFR (as has his boss). They have had a blast driving it around and giving rides. Mikiec is there an award for the most number of people driven in a year ? I'm at about 53 by now. Hersh, if I can be of any assistance in making the smaller decals please let me know. Jerry Nanson is quite adept with a computer. Mikiec - once I get into Arizona I don't wan't you anywhere near me. John

Hey John,
Mikie may not give good directions but he seems to be rather good with computers. He just doesn't talk about it cause he has to work around them all day.

Hersh,
What operating system do you need with the copmpuer? Also, what type of keyboard connector and mouse connector do you have? Is the mouse a ps/2, connector about the size of a pencil.
Does the keyboard have the same connector or is it larger?

I believe you have it mikie. What ever they used from 1988-1992.
I have several types of mouses and even a bunch of adapters for them. Same for the keyboard, It's round and bigger than the mouse's.
It will work on Windows 95 and 98. I'm not sure about 2000.
Hersh

Dave,
Thanks for your kind offer. We'll see if Mikies will work first, if not I may take you up on it.
