Pallet Donor?
I remember talking with someone about a local (AZ) based company offering a pallet donor, but I can't remeber the name anymore. Help?

Talked to Tom, seems like a great guy and knew Jason and Mikiec. $2500.00 seems like a good deal to not have to tear up the donor while sitting in the dirt.
Ironic that a guy with a 1200 sq ft. garage is short on space to work on a car isn't it?

Mike, Tom will deliver it too for free. That was the worst part of the build for me. Dirty, grimey, mess. Tell him to call you every time he gets one in so you can check it out. I had painters plastic going through the house for a few weeks to keep the crap off the carpet. Stock up on Orange Goop, brake cleaner, degreaser, wire brushes, spray paint, etc. When are you ordering the kit?

Yeah he mentioned the free shipping. Plus he's right down the street from the warehouse I get my T-shirts at, so I'll be checking in regularly, he said they have driveshaft shortening services and sell wheels and various parts so I'm sure I'll be lurking around there regularly.
We're starting the paperwork for the $$s we have to borrow and as soon as that's OKd I'm sending in the deposit. Probably won't have it delivered for 3-4 months. I have a couple guitars still to finish and don't need the distraction. Plus I still have to do something with the sandbuggy and clear some space behind the shop to store the body and frame.
Can't wait for November and Vegas!

Yes, he told me that they would come that way. I have a parts washer too so I can get them really clean and paintable. He said they check out the motor before the strip down to make sure it's got decent pressure etc. My idea is to drive it at least a couple years in stock form, then either sell it and start again, or upgrade to one of the mid-range Levy engines. I haven't driven anything fast for some years now so I suppose 225 HP will be plenty for a while.
BTW guys, if any of you have need I have a tubing bender avaiable to loan out. I like the street look but am going to make myself a 3-point bar that I can bolt-in.
"July"
Ughh, don't remind me. Sept-Dec is my busiest time so unfortunately I won't be able to use the nicest months to build. The shop is swamp cooled and as soon as it's a roller I'll be able to bring it in the shop and night for safe keeping and working on.
