No. Technical difficulties.
After midnight when finishing the car, it was discovered that Ford had put a 31 spline differential in a 28 spline box. Needless to say, we were saying bad things.
Finally got running after noon, but too late to make it to the track. Did some breaking in on the street.
Next stop: Run & Gun
Here's what to look for:

The green car may belong to Brian. It is a Lone Star with 429 big block.

Bart, that is a good looking car. Do you plan on running it anyplace else? There is a Cobra Owners Club running at Willow Springs at the end of this month.
Mike, the car at AMP was a very vibrant green color. I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone about it. It had numbers and stickers all over it. Pretty cool car!

AMP
Ya, that was me burnin up the tires at AMP.
That track is so much fun!
The first session out I had my suspension set up wrong and spun going onto the straight at about 65 mph! First time I spun the Green Machine on the track, what a hoot! I was turning 2:04 lap times, nothing to brag about, but a personal best for me. I taped two days of running from the in-car camera, and the car is starting to handle good (or is it the driver ) Car is in the shop getting new side pipes, which leads me to my next question........................
Who did your pipes with the cross over tubes in the front? Is that the cup motor that my pipe guy was talking about?? I was told that I might see up to 20% increase in HP because my side pipes were so bad, and restrictive.............
Keep the shinny side up.......................
Brian

Brian that's a Levy-made 180º setup. There's a discussion about it over at the FFCobra forum.

Brian, The guy I sent you to to do your side pipes did the full 180 system. He did the system in Stainless. I bet if you let him do your headers also, you would pick up at least 60hp. Gordon

Brian, I was the guy tooling around in the pits Saturday morning in the blue and white CSX car. Looks like you guys were having too much fun. Do you run the car with any othert organizations out there?

Pipes
That looks like the work of the same guy that is doing my pipes!
His name is Terry, and he does all of the racing set-ups for Gordon, and Bondaraunt.......ect. He is a bit pricy but does excellent work. I could not find the thread on the 180's will look later,
Keep it above 100................
